This January, youth throughout the United States and across the world saw the departure of a President who publicly declared himself a feminist; many are now are grappling with proposed policies and views that are taking a step backwards for girls and women globally, coupled with rhetoric prioritizing national interest at the expense of feeling a global citizenship. What tools are needed in the current political climate to support and encourage youth, and especially girls, to know they have a voice? How can we help youth thrive as leaders and active citizens in their communities? From call-in days to advocacy boot camps, learn about the resources and trainings Girl Up employs to develop girls’ confidence as advocates and deepen their sense of solidarity with girls around the world through political advocacy.
